September 20, 2008: The Finnish Silken Windhound Club has its annual specialty, the judge was Mrs Karen Sanders, kennel Allagante, USA. Kassu was best male and BOS, Tellu got excellent.

September 16, 2008: The population of our Kingdom has grown! We got two new arrivals from USA: sweet fawn little girl Keva Double M and her brother, irish marked red boy Lassa Double M. Both are co-owned by me, Keva's other owner is Sinikka Waldén and Lassa lives with his other owner Gunilla Fager in Kirkkonummi. Welcome kids!

August 2, 2008: Kassu participated to German Silken Windhound Specialty. The judge was Mr Frits Hoorneman, van Pazjino Borzoi, NL. There were total of 15 silkens and Kassu was BISS!!! He also won the last points for ISWS Champion title!

July 13, 2008: Tellu was coursing in Hyvinkää: total points 482 and 2nd place!

April 2008: Tellu was diagnosed to have an exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, EPI :(. Luckily she is happy and well as long as gets enzyme supplements in every meal. Her coming litter is now cancelled.

March 9, 2008: Tellu and Kassu participated in the official Winter Lure Coursing organised by the Finnish Borzoi Club. Tellu was 2nd in silken windhounds and won the 2nd best points 536 of the whole weekend and of all breeds! Way to go Tellu! Kassu disturbed Ella just before the lure was stopped and was disqualified.

January 2008: Remu is 10 years old! And still going strong!

October 13, 2007: Kassu took part to an unofficial lure coursing event in Hyvinkää. For some reason he wasn't as passionate as normally and therefore ended up to a 15th position. Tellu, however, was in her best the next day in oval track! She ran 280 meters and got the time 20.48! Not bad at all, she was the best of the participating 5 silkens and very comparable to other breeds as well.

September 2007: we moved to an own house in Rajamäki village in Nurmijärvi. Dogs can now play hide and seek in the back yard behind the bushes and there is also enough space for proper speeding.

SuSVK specialty 2007 was held in Tuomarinkartano Sighthound Center on August 11th. The judge was Ms Arja Kettunen (afghan hound kennel Neliapilan), who placed Kassu to the Best Dog 2 and gave Tellu Very Good wishing that she had stronger bones and were slightly bigger :). Both behaved and showed themselves very nicely, even Kassu was willing to move despite of the hot sunshine.

More lure coursing: May 27 silkens attended to the lure coursing in Valkeakoski. 6 silkens were competing, Kassu was 3rd and poor Tellu fell down and didn't get it to the finals but was 5th. Both got very nice points though: Tellu 233 and Kassu 237+240, total 477.

May 17th Tellu was training in Hyvinkää.

Silken windhounds were able to attend to an official lure coursing (as an unofficial class) for the first time. They took part to the Winter Lure Coursing, organised by the Finnish Borzoi Club, and Kassu took the second place! Well done Kassu! Here in the finals with Ella.

Mom and me made Kassu and Tellu new coats. Pretty nice, aren't they :)!

Tellu had her 1-year-birthday in January!

Remu broke his wrist in the autumn. After two operations he is now little by little taking his injured leg into use and learning to walk on four legs again. Water therapy helps a lot.

Silken Windhound Club's 5th specialty and Borzoi Club's 30 years jubileum specialty were held on June 10th 2006. In silken show Tellu was BIS-puppy (see her style below ;), Kassu was best male + BOS and won SuSVK Winner-06 title. Remppa was 3rd in borzoi's tourist class, all three got very nice critiques.

Our Kingdom has a tiny little Princess! Silken girl Tellu (Windspirit Dahlia at Tsaarikon) arrived May 13th 2006 from USA.

Kassu has now a tireless playmate and is teaching Tellu all the best tricks.

Kassu was the test runner in The Finnish Borzoi Club's Winter Coursing competition 2006-03-12. Also Eero was there taking pictures, here are couple of them:
