Tellu has born in Lucille Meale's Windspirit silken windhound kennel which is located in New Jersey, USA. She has 7 sisters and one brother; one of the sisters is Irish marked blue brindle, two are golden/champagne and the rest of the sisters are white with spots. The only brother is extreme white. Quite a variety of colours, as Tellu herself is Irish marked red brindle.

Tellu I was visiting my sisters at Seattle in April-May 2006 and brought Tellu with me when I returned to Finland. She first flew from New Jersey to Seattle, spent there close to two weeks and then we continued to Finland. She was very brave little girl and the long flight caused no trouble to her, she also adjusted herself very easily to our Kingdom.

Tellu Miss Dinkkadoo (that's Tellu) is small but spunky. She loves to play and she's not anyhow on the defensive when playing with Kassu even though he is bigger and the playing gets quite rough sometimes. Kassu certainly got an equal pal! Sometimes it feels like those two can play around the clock, there are days when I have to invite them inside to have some sleep. Tellu would like to sleep right next to Kassu but in summer it was too hot so he tried to move a bit further away from her.

Tellu Tellu has chased the lure couple of times, and have done really well, both in lure coursing and also in oval track! Time shows how she will develop but she sure looks very promising and also fast, even Kassu has to run as fast as he can when Tellu is chasing him.

Tellu Tellu has really wonderful temperament, she enjoys being a lap dog and wriggles like a worm when I tickle her belly. She is much more alert outside than my boys are and informs other dogs loudly that they are not allowed to come close to our yard. Luckily she is calming down a bit and hopefully gets rid of that barking when she grows older. Kassu is Tellu's best friend and Remu is her great idol. She gently bites Remu's ear everytime she got a chance and not so gently Kassu's ears when they are wrestling. For some reason she also shows people how much she likes them by biting their noses.

Tellu doesn't yet have any real hobbies unless stealing is not counted in. She is nice and slender even though she eats like a horse and steals all the eatable she can find. Her special yummies are all kinds of berries which she finds from the garden and from the forest. What a funny little miss she is!
